Launched in 2016, Turquoise by Michael Kors is an aquatic-floral fragrance that captures the essence of a fresh sea breeze and sunlit water. The composition opens with vibrant notes of lime and cucumber, which are immediately grounded by the marine accords and salty undertones. The heart introduces a delicate blend of jasmine and wild orchid, while the base layers in musk and ambroxan to create an enduring warmth that lingers on the skin.
One to two sprays on pulse points are sufficient — the lime and cucumber top notes are fresh but short-lived. The marine base notes settle in quickly and last throughout the day, so a lighter application works best.
