The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2000, Terre d'Iris by Miller Harris is a Chypre Floral fragrance that balances the brightness of citrus with the earthy warmth of woody accords and the powdery depth of iris. Created by Lyn Harris, this composition opens with bergamot, bitter orange, and grapefruit, which immediately set a fresh and aromatic tone. The heart notes of rosemary, sage, and African orange flower add a spicy herbal touch before settling into a base of oak moss, fir, orris, resin, and patchouli that grounds the scent in rich earthiness.
One or two sprays are sufficient as this fragrance develops fully close to skin. The citrus top notes are bright and fresh but fade quickly into the deeper woody and mossy base, which carries the scent throughout the day.
