Wild Pears by Montale, crafted by Pierre Montale and launched in 2011, is a fragrance that balances the crispness of pear with warm, powdery musk. The composition opens with bergamot and pear, creating a fresh, fruity top note that transitions into floral elements like carnation and lily-of-the-valley. The base notes of sandalwood and vanilla offer a soft, warm contrast to the initial freshness, making it a versatile scent for both day and evening.
Wild Pears builds gradually on skin, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The pear and bergamot notes fade within a couple of hours, but the warm musk and vanilla base notes linger for much longer. It pairs well with lighter clothing in warmer weather.
