Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Montblanc, Emblem was created by perfumers Sonia Constant and Olivier Pescheux. This aromatic spicy fragrance opens with a bright burst of clary sage and grapefruit, giving way to the warm complexity of cardamom and cinnamon. The heart notes of violet leaf introduce an unexpected freshness that contrasts beautifully with the woody base, anchored by tonka bean and vanilla. Emblem is a composition caught between the crispness of nature and the warmth of tradition, embodying the refined elegance Montblanc is known for.
Apply Emblem to pulse points — its citrus and aromatic top notes are bright but fade quickly. The woody base blooms after about an hour, so it’s best to let it settle into your skin rather than overdoing the initial application. Ideal for daytime wear when you want a fragrance that evolves subtly throughout the day.
