The story behind the bottle.
Deci Dela by Nina Ricci was launched in 1994, a fragrance that embodies the essence of Italian elegance with a touch of modernity. Created by Jean Guichard, this composition opens with a burst of fruity accords — apricot, peach, raspberry, and red currant — that read as fresh and vibrant. As it settles into its heart notes, osmanthus, sweet pea, rose, freesia, jasmine, and resins bring a floral sweetness that is both delicate and enduring. The base notes of patchouli, cypress, vanilla, and sandalwood ground the fragrance in warmth and depth, creating a powdery, balsamic finish that lingers softly on the skin.
Apply Deci Dela to your pulse points — wrists, neck, and behind the ears. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it with a light mist over your hair or clothing can extend its presence throughout the day. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than in a room-filling sillage.
