The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1973 by Nina Ricci, Farouche was crafted by perfumer Michel Hy and stands as a proof of the brand's enduring elegance. This floral aldehyde fragrance opens with vibrant aldehydes and green notes like galbanum and clary sage, creating an immediate freshness that cuts through the air. The heart is a lush bouquet of carnation, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and rose, while the base settles into warm spices, earthy oakmoss, and sensual musk. Farouche's composition is a delicate balance between crisp greenery and rich florals, making it both lasting and captivating.
Apply Farouche to pulse points for a lingering effect. The green top notes dissipate quickly, but the floral heart and warm base notes will last well into the evening. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than across a room.
