The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1967, Mademoiselle Ricci by Nina Ricci is a Floral Green fragrance crafted by perfumer Michel Hy. This scent opens with a vibrant citrus note from bergamot and lemon, which gives way to the lush greenery of hyacinth, violet leaf, and galbanum. At its heart, it features a bouquet of jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, lilac, narcissus, royal lily, and honeysuckle — an intricate blend of florals that is both fresh and powdery. The base notes of iris, rose, spices, oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood, cedar, amber, and musk add a layer of warmth and earthiness, grounding the composition in a sophisticated elegance.

How to wear it

Apply this fragrance in light layers; the citrus top notes fade quickly but the floral heart and earthy base linger throughout the day. It's best worn during cooler hours to enhance its powdery warmth.
