Reve d'Ossian by Oriza L. Legrand was launched in 1900 and quickly became a proof of the brand's dedication to complex, elegant compositions. This fragrance opens with incense and pine tree notes that create an evocative smoky atmosphere, leading into a heart of elemi and opoponax that adds warmth and depth. The base notes of guaiac wood, frankincense, myrrh, and tolu balsam ground the composition in rich, earthy tones, resulting in a scent that feels both lasting and deeply soulful.
This fragrance has strong projection from its base notes, so one or two sprays are sufficient. It blooms slowly, revealing new layers over several hours, making it ideal for an evening out where you want to draw people in with each passing minute.
