The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1914 by Oriza L. Legrand and crafted by perfumer Hugo Lambert, Vetiver Royal Bourbon is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of an earthy yet fresh olfactory experience. The composition opens with peppermint and thyme, bringing a crisp and aromatic freshness to the fore before settling into a rich base of bourbon vetiver, sandalwood, labdanum, iris, cade oil, styrax, and oakmoss. This interplay between bright green notes and deep earthy accords creates a complex yet harmonious scent that is both invigorating and grounding.
Apply Vetiver Royal Bourbon sparingly to allow its layers to unfold gradually. The peppermint and thyme notes are bright but fleeting, so a light application ensures that the rich vetiver base can shine through over time. This fragrance is best worn in cooler weather when its earthy warmth can be fully appreciated.
