Launched in 1909 by Oriza L. Legrand and crafted by perfumer Hugo Lambert, Oeillet Louis XV is a floral fragrance that transports you to the opulent era of Louis XV. This composition opens with pink pepper and mandarin orange, providing an unexpected spiciness that contrasts with the delicate heart of carnation, white orchid, iris, and rose. The base notes of cedar, pepper, and blonde woods add warmth and depth, grounding the fragrance in a richly textured experience.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its complex notes to unfold gradually. The spicy top notes are vibrant and fleeting, while the powdery base lingers for hours. Best enjoyed in cooler settings, as it can read as richly warm.
