The story behind the bottle.
Secret Joly by Oriza L. Legrand was launched in 1920, standing as an emblem of the brand's enduring elegance and sophistication. This Oriental Floral fragrance weaves together a complex blend of white florals, musk, and balsamic notes that create a rich, enveloping scent. The composition opens with hyacinth and ylang-ylang, leading to a heart of jasmine sambac, gardenia, and tuberose, before settling into the warm embrace of Peru balsam, musk, and civet. This blend captures the essence of a bygone era while remaining relevant today.
Apply Secret Joly in a well-ventilated area to allow its full complexity to unfold. One or two sprays on pulse points will ensure that the rich base notes have time to develop throughout the day. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather, when the warmth of the balsamic and musky accords can truly shine.
