The story behind the bottle.
Vitriol d’œillet by Serge Lutens, launched in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake, is a complex Oriental Spicy fragrance that marries warm and fresh spicy notes with floral and white floral accords. The opening burst of freshness quickly transitions into a heart of rich florals, creating an intriguing tension between the crispness and warmth. This composition offers a nuanced experience that evolves over time, making it both versatile and engaging.
Apply one or two sprays and allow it to settle for about 15 minutes. The white florals will bloom over time, so this fragrance is best experienced close to skin rather than from across the room.
