The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1900, Royal Oeillet by Oriza L. Legrand is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men that seamlessly blends warmth with freshness. The composition opens with the sharp, invigorating notes of black pepper and pink pepper, which quickly give way to the rich, spicy accents of cloves. At its heart, rose and geranium provide an unexpected floral contrast, while cedar and sandalwood form a grounded woody base. Royal Oeillet is neither overly sweet nor aggressively aromatic; instead, it presents a harmonious blend that resonates with both classic and contemporary tastes.
Royal Oeillet is best applied in light layers — its complexity unfolds gradually over time. Given the richness of its base notes, it pairs well with cooler weather but can also be worn year-round for a subtle yet lasting presence.
