Launched in 2018 by Ormonde Jayne, Cuir Imperial is a Leather fragrance created by perfumer Linda Pilkington. This composition opens with the bright zest of bergamot and pink pepper, which cuts through to the heart of cognac, suede, and leather, creating an intriguing tension between freshness and warmth. The base notes of sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, and tonka bean anchor this scent in a rich, powdery musk that reads as both intimate and commanding.
Cuir Imperial’s cognac and pepper top notes are bright but fleeting. Apply two sprays to allow the deeper leathery and woody base to come through, ensuring a lasting warmth close to skin rather than filling the room.
