Launched in 2025 and crafted by Linda Pilkington for Ormonde Jayne, Nawaf Zaffran is a complex Oriental Spicy fragrance that defies simple categorization. The composition begins with the warm spiciness of saffron and pear, which introduces an unexpected fruity note into the mix. This is followed by benzoin and iris, adding depth and complexity before settling into a base of leather, musk, patchouli, and amber. The interplay between these elements creates a rich blend that feels both grounding and slightly mysterious.
Apply Nawaf Zaffran in light layers — the initial spiciness is bright but fades within an hour. The base notes are long-lasting and develop on skin over time, so it’s best to let them build naturally rather than overwhelming with too much perfume at once. Ideal for evenings or cooler weather when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
