Launched in 2016 by Ormonde Jayne, One is a fragrance that marries the warmth of spices with the delicate elegance of florals and woody notes. The composition opens with cardamom and citrus, creating a fresh yet spicy aroma that immediately draws you in. As it develops, rose and freesia soften the top notes, giving way to the rich depth of sandalwood and cedar. Ambergris adds an earthy warmth, grounding the fragrance while maintaining its complexity.
One blooms gradually on the skin, so it's best applied lightly at first. The spicy top notes can be intense initially but fade into a softer floral-woody base over time. It pairs well with warmer weather and intimate settings where its depth can truly shine.
