Sampaquita by Ormonde Jayne was launched in 2004 and crafted by Geza Schoen, known for creating compositions that balance freshness with depth. This fragrance opens with a vibrant mix of litchi and bergamot, which cuts through the air like a fresh breeze on a sunny day. The heart notes of water lily, freesia, jasmine, rose, and lily-of-the-valley create an intricate floral bouquet that feels both delicate and lush. The musky base of ambrette, oakmoss, and vetiver adds warmth and grounding, making Sampaquita a scent that evolves gracefully throughout the day.
Sampaquita has a bright opening that fades within two hours, so apply it liberally at first to capture its freshness.
