Boccanera by Orto Parisi, launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that balances warmth with freshness. The composition opens with chili pepper and black pepper, creating a spicy tension that cuts through the richness of chocolate and cacao pod. At its heart, jasmine and vanilla bring sweetness, while musk, leather, and animal notes add depth and complexity to the base. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too sharp but finds a harmonious balance between spiciness and warmth.
Apply Boccanera in thin layers — its spicy top notes are potent but dissipate quickly. The richness of the base notes takes time to develop fully, so let it settle on your skin before reapplying if needed. Best worn during cooler evenings when the warmth of the composition can be appreciated.
