Stercus by Orto Parisi was launched in 2014 and is crafted by Alessandro Gualtieri. This Woody Floral Musk fragrance opens with aldehydes and anise, creating a sharp contrast to the heart of rose and agarwood (oud). The base notes of musk, leather, vanilla, and cedar bring warmth and depth, grounding the composition in rich, earthy tones. Stercus is neither overtly floral nor woody; instead, it balances between these elements, offering a complex yet harmonious blend that feels both modern and lasting.
Stercus blooms slowly, so a light initial application is recommended. The aldehydes and anise top notes are fleeting, making way for the heart and base to develop over time. It's best worn in cooler weather when its rich warmth can fully envelop you.
