Infusion d'Iris, crafted by Daniela Andrier and launched by Prada in 2007, is a fragrance that oscillates between ethereal lightness and grounding warmth. It opens with a luminous burst of neroli and mandarin before surrendering to the creamy sophistication of iris, which feels like touching cashmere against skin. The base notes of benzoin, cedar, and vetiver ground this composition in warm woody sensuality, creating a scent that is both delicate and profound.
Given its moderate longevity and sillage, apply two sprays to ensure that both the top and base notes are well-balanced. The iris heart is best experienced close to skin rather than diffused into a room, so aim for pulse points. This fragrance holds up particularly well during cooler weather.
