Launched in 2018 and crafted by Daniela Andrier, Prada La Femme Velvet Edition is an Oriental Floral fragrance that encapsulates the brand's Italian elegance with a modern twist. The composition opens with bright bergamot and magnolia before transitioning into a heart of frangipani, Indian tuberose, and ylang-ylang. These floral notes are anchored by a warm base of vanilla, beeswax, musk, vetiver, and cedar, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points — it takes about an hour for the base notes to fully integrate. The floral heart is most prominent initially, so give it time to settle into its velvet warmth. Avoid heavy application in summer; the musky base can be overpowering.
