Tainted Love by Prada, launched in 2015 and crafted by Daniela Andrier, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that reinterprets the synthetic smell of lipstick with accords of violet and musk. The top note of pear gives way to a heart filled with violet, rose, peach, and raspberry, before settling into a base of orris and musk. This composition is part of Prada’s exclusive Olfactories collection, which aims to evoke the cinematic experience of a partially remembered dream, far from market clichés.
One spritz is enough to capture the essence of Tainted Love — it blooms quickly and maintains its presence throughout the day. The pear and raspberry top notes are fleeting but impactful, making way for the rich orris and musky base that lingers close to skin.
