Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Midnight Sex by Rabanne, launched in 2024 and crafted by Véronique Nyberg, is a bold and edgy addition to LA COLLECTION RABANNE — an unprecedented collection of eight aspirational fragrances. This composition opens with the creamy richness of coconut, leading into a heart of tuberose and orange blossom that exudes a white floral sweetness. The base note of sandalwood adds warmth and depth, while subtle animalic and powdery undertones create a sensuous and intimate atmosphere.
One or two sprays are enough to capture the essence of this fragrance. The creamy top notes dissipate quickly, giving way to the rich floral heart and warm base notes that develop over time. This composition reads best close to skin rather than filling a room, making it ideal for intimate settings.
