The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1944, Femme Rochas by Rochas is a Chypre Fruity fragrance that has stood as a landmark of classic perfumery ever since its creation by Edmond Roudnitska. The composition opens with bright fruity notes like plum and peach, which quickly give way to the warm spice of cinnamon and cloves, creating an inviting and richly layered scent. At its heart, Femme Rochas balances soft florals such as rose and jasmine with earthy accords of oakmoss and patchouli, leading into a powdery base of leather and musk that lingers softly on the skin.
Femme Rochas has a slow development on skin, so it's best to apply it at least half an hour before you need it. The fruity top notes are fleeting, but they set up the rich heart and base notes that emerge over time. A light application is sufficient, as the fragrance builds beautifully close to the skin.
