Madison Pour Femme by Roja Dove was launched in 2017 as a sophisticated Oriental fragrance. The composition is built around powdery and woody accords, with the warmth of vanilla and musk at its core. The opening notes of mandarin orange and bergamot introduce a freshness that soon gives way to the rich floral heart of ylang-ylang, violet, may rose, black currant, heliotrope, jasmine, and labdanum. This fragrance is notable for how it balances its sweet and powdery aspects with woody and musky notes like cedar, sandalwood, orris, pink pepper, incense, benzoin, and patchouli.
Apply this fragrance sparingly — it develops its full complexity within an hour. The base notes of musk and woody accords allow it to last well into the evening, making it ideal for a cozy night in or a formal dinner.
