The story behind the bottle.
Roja Dove launched Amber Aoud Absolue Precieux in 2012 as an Oriental Floral fragrance that balances bright citrus with warm, spicy woods and rich florals. The composition opens with lime, lemon, and bergamot, creating a vibrant freshness before transitioning to the heart of rose de mai, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. At its core lies agarwood (oud), ambergris, saffron, and benzoin, all anchored by musk and oakmoss. This fragrance is neither overly assertive nor reticent; it occupies a middle ground where elegance meets warmth.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The bright top notes are fleeting, so allow it an hour for the warm base to fully emerge. It’s better suited for cooler weather, as the spicy and woody accords can feel heavy in warmer conditions.
