Roja Dove launched Musk Aoud Absolue Précieux in 2010, crafting a fragrance that marries the opulent richness of oud with the warmth and depth of leather and musk. The composition opens with bright citrus notes — lemon and bergamot — before diving into a heart of rose de mai, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. However, it is the base notes that truly define this scent: agarwood (oud), labdanum, birch, patchouli, sandalwood, oakmoss, nutmeg, vanilla, and tonka bean create an enveloping warmth and a sense of lasting luxury.
This fragrance is best applied in light layers — a single spritz allows each note to unfold gradually. The oud and leather base notes are particularly long-lasting, making this ideal for evening wear or cooler weather when you want a scent that lingers.
