Launched in 2019 by Roja Dove, Pierre de Velay No. 4 is a complex Oriental fragrance that seamlessly blends warm spiciness with aromatic freshness and woody depth. The composition opens with bay leaf and sage, providing an invigorating contrast to the rich heart of rose and cardamom. The base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and musk create a comforting warmth that lingers throughout the day. Roja Dove’s expertise is evident in this fragrance's balance and depth, making it both intriguing and inviting.
This fragrance blooms best with time, so applying it in the morning allows the base notes to develop fully. Two sprays should suffice — the spicy opening is bright but fades into the more enveloping heart and base notes over several hours.
