Roja Dove Parfum Royale #5, launched in 2017 by the eponymous perfumer Roja Dove, is a complex blend of fresh spiciness and woody warmth. Opening with aldehydes and citrus notes like bergamot and grapefruit, it quickly transitions into a heart rich with may rose, violet, and heliotrope, offering a floral bouquet that’s both delicate and enduring. The base layers of leather, labdanum, and tonka bean bring an earthy depth that grounds the composition in sophistication.
This fragrance layers beautifully but doesn't project loudly. Apply two sprays to let the base notes emerge fully — they take about an hour to bloom. It’s best for daytime wear when you want a scent that feels close to skin, offering subtle warmth rather than loud presence.
