Launched in 2018, Calimala by Salvatore Ferragamo is an Oriental Spicy fragrance crafted by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. The composition begins with a bright citrus and rose duet that feels fresh yet grounded. As the scent evolves, cardamom and orange blossom add warmth and depth, leading into a base of suede, cypriol oil, vanilla, and musk that reads as earthy and powdery. This balance between crisp florals and rich leather gives Calimala its distinctive character — a fragrance that feels both modern and lasting.
Calimala's top notes are bright but fade quickly, so apply a couple of sprays initially. The rich base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, making it perfect for layering or wearing close to the skin throughout the day.
