Sophie Labbé crafted Gilio (2019) for Salvatore Ferragamo, blending Italian orris root and jasmine with patchouli and vetiver to create a composition that is both earthy and powdery. The fragrance opens with the fresh greenness of angelica before settling into a rich base of sandalwood and amber. This intricate balance between floral brightness and woody depth makes Gilio feel like a modern interpretation of classic elegance, fitting for the house founded in 1927.
