The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Cedre by Serge Lutens was launched in 2005 and is an Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake. The composition opens with a warm spicy accord that gives way to the rich notes of tuberose and white florals, creating a complex interplay between sweetness and warmth. The base features woody, amber, and cinnamon notes, along with a subtle animalic touch and powdery undertones, making it feel both intimate and grand.

How to wear it

Apply Cedre in light layers, as it blooms over time to reveal its full depth. The powdery base notes emerge after about an hour, making it ideal for evening wear when you want a scent that evolves with you.
