The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 by Serge Lutens and crafted by Christopher Sheldrake, Clair de Musc is a floral fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with a bright citrus note that quickly gives way to an intriguing blend of iris and violet, creating a delicate balance between freshness and depth. At its heart lies a musky, powdery base with hints of earthy white florals, which lends the scent a warm, comforting embrace. It is neither overtly sweet nor overly complex, making it a versatile choice for various occasions.
Apply this fragrance sparingly — it blooms beautifully on skin over time. The citrus top note fades within an hour but leaves behind a lingering, warm musky base that lasts throughout the day and into the evening.
