The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2004, Vetiver Oriental by Serge Lutens is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake. The composition opens with earthy and woody accords that create a grounding effect, followed by aromatic and mossy nuances that add depth and complexity. At its core, the scent features powdery and amber notes, which blend seamlessly with hints of chocolate and iris, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere.
Apply Vetiver Oriental to pulse points for a lasting warmth. The earthy top notes fade within an hour, but the rich base notes will carry you through the day. It pairs well with layers, so it’s ideal for transitional weather.
