The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Eau d'Ikar by Sisley is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of earth and light. Perfumer Vincent Ricord crafts this composition around a bright citrus-aromatic opening with bergamot and Amalfi lemon, which contrasts sharply against the warm, powdery base notes of iris, vetiver, sandalwood, and amber. The green and balsamic accents add depth, creating a scent that oscillates between freshness and warmth.
Eau d'Ikar blooms gradually on the skin; a single spray in the morning will allow the citrus to brighten your day before giving way to its powdery warmth. This fragrance is best for daytime wear as it reads more softly and comfortably close to the skin.
