The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011 by Slumberhouse and crafted by perfumer Josh Lobb, Verg is a chypre fruity fragrance that defies easy categorization. The composition opens with the bright burst of raspberry, which contrasts beautifully against the earthy richness of oak moss and tobacco. Ginger adds a fresh spicy note to the heart, while neroli brings an unexpected floral freshness. This interplay between sweet fruitiness and earthy depth makes Verg a truly distinctive creation.
Apply Verg in light layers — the bright raspberry top note fades within an hour but leaves room for the tobacco and oak moss to develop fully. It's best worn close to skin rather than sprayed liberally, allowing its complex layers to unfold gradually.
