The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020, Moss Cologne by Bortnikoff is a Chypre Fruity fragrance crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff himself. The composition opens with a vibrant burst of citrus from grapefruit, sweet orange, and bergamot, which then transitions into the earthy warmth of oakmoss and nutmeg. This interplay of freshness and depth continues through the heart notes of champaca, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, before settling into a rich base of cedarwood, ambergris, labdanum, vanilla, and tonka bean. The result is a fragrance that feels both lasting and modern.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient to keep the fragrance close to skin. The earthy base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so apply early in your day for a full experience.
