Launched in 2018 by Valentino and crafted by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, Noir Absolu Musc Essence is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that balances aldehydic freshness with warm vanilla and powdery notes. The composition opens with the crispness of aldehydes and heliotrope before giving way to a heart of rose and orange blossom, creating an unexpected interplay between brightness and warmth. The base notes of tonka bean and woody accords add depth and comfort, grounding the fragrance in a rich, enveloping musk.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin, so apply it generously to pulse points for the best effect. The aldehydic top notes are bright but fleeting, while the powdery base notes last throughout the day.
