The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1994 and crafted by Jean-Pierre Bethouart, Blue Jeans by Versace is a fragrance that has become one of the most polarizing budget classics. Its aromatic fougère composition opens with citruses, bergamot, and juniper, blending into a heart of lavender, rose, carnation, jasmine, and geranium before settling on a base of vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, iris, musk, cedar, amber, patchouli, and vetiver. This scent has maintained its cult status among fragrance enthusiasts for decades, with some viewing it as a nostalgic favorite and others considering it an outdated classic.
One spray is sufficient — the aromatic top notes are bright and immediate but fade within an hour. The woody base notes carry through the day, making it suitable for daytime wear. It's best not to layer with other scents as it can become too heavy.
