The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Vertus, Ombre is a fragrance that balances the fresh spiciness of oregano and bergamot with the deep warmth of oud and vanilla. The composition opens with a bright aromatic freshness that quickly gives way to a complex heart of labdanum and woody notes, culminating in an enveloping base of patchouli, sandalwood, and musk. This interplay between light and dark, fresh and warm, creates a scent that is both intriguing and comforting.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points — the fresh spicy top notes are bright but don't linger, so you'll want the woody and powdery base notes to carry the scent. This fragrance is best for cooler evenings when its warm undertones can truly shine.
