The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Xerjoff and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, Ceylon is a Woody Floral Musk that captures the essence of an intricate blend of sweetness and warmth. The fragrance opens with honey and calabrian bergamot, creating a harmonious tension between the bright citrus and rich golden sweetness. This leads to the heart notes of jasmine sambac and agarwood (oud), which add depth and complexity, before settling into a base of sandalwood, amber, musk, and vanilla, providing a luxurious and enveloping finish.
Ceylon has a strong base that develops over time, so one or two sprays on pulse points will allow it to unfold naturally throughout the day. The fragrance is best experienced close to the skin, where its honeyed sweetness and warm woods are most pronounced.
