The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007, Elle by Xerjoff is an Oriental Floral fragrance that balances bright citrus and rich amber with a powdery depth. The opening notes of African orange flower and citruses introduce a fresh, vibrant energy, while the heart of iris and galbanum adds a subtle complexity. This composition then settles into a base of woods, patchouli, benzoin, and opoponax, creating an enveloping warmth that is both powdery and sweet.
One or two sprays is enough — the bright citrus notes are short-lived, but the powdery and woody base notes linger throughout the day. Best for cooler weather when the warm amber and musk can fully envelop you without overpowering.
