The story behind the bottle.
Zadig Eau de Parfum by Zadig & Voltaire was launched in 2025 and created by perfumers Amandine Clerc-Marie and Florian Gallo. This Oriental Floral fragrance opens with the freshness of citrus, sesame, ginger, and white pepper before transitioning into a heart of orange blossom and neroli essence. The base notes of chantilly cream, vanilla, and sandalwood bring warmth and sweetness to the composition. The contrast between the fresh spicy opening and the powdery woody base creates an intriguing duality that keeps this fragrance engaging throughout the day.
This fragrance has moderate longevity and sillage, so two sprays are sufficient to capture its full essence. The fresh spicy opening fades after an hour, making it ideal for daytime wear. The base notes settle in quickly, ensuring that the scent remains close to your skin rather than projecting into a room.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
