The story behind the bottle.
Zadig L'Intense by Zadig & Voltaire was launched in 2026 and was crafted by perfumers Amandine Clerc-Marie and Florian Gallo. This Oriental Woody fragrance opens with a bold contrast between the spicy warmth of incense, sesame, and black sesame, and the fresh zing of ginger and citrus notes. As it settles, the composition reveals a heart of orange blossom that softens into a base of vanilla, precious woods like sandalwood and guaiac wood, and an unexpected touch of vinyl. The result is a rich blend of warmth and depth, where sweet and woody accords create a sense of comfort and intensity.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient to ensure the fragrance endures throughout the day. The moderate sillage means it stays close to your skin, making it perfect for intimate settings and casual outings where you want a subtle yet noticeable scent.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
