The story behind the bottle.
Feminité du Bois Limited Edition by Serge Lutens was launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake. This composition opens with a bright burst of plum and peach, creating an initial sense of sweetness that is quickly grounded by the earthy warmth of Virginia cedar and cinnamon. The heart notes introduce ylang-ylang and rose, adding layers of floral complexity, while the base of sandalwood, vanilla, benzoin, and musk brings a powdery and warm spiciness to the blend. This fragrance is neither traditionally masculine nor feminine but rather an unisex ode to the interplay between fruity sweetness and woody depth.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays — it develops gradually over time. The initial fruity notes are most prominent in the first hour but give way to the woody and powdery base notes as the day progresses, making it suitable for both daytime and evening wear.
