The story behind the bottle.
Ebony Wood Elixir by Zara is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men, launched in 2026 and crafted by the renowned perfumer Jo Malone. This composition opens with a vibrant burst of grapefruit and pink pepper, creating an immediate contrast against the rich earthy tones of cypress and coffee. The heart reveals a warm blend of coffee blossom and mocha, adding depth and complexity before settling into a base of cedarwood, patchouli, and vetiver that reads as smoky and comforting.
Apply this fragrance two sprays at a time — the grapefruit and pink pepper top notes are bright but fleeting. The rich base notes will develop on your skin over time, so it's best to let them settle before heading out for the evening.
