Launched in 2019 by Zara and crafted by perfumer Jo Malone, Ebony Wood is a Woody Spicy fragrance that blends fresh spicy notes with deep earthy undertones. The composition opens with pink pepper and grapefruit, creating an immediate sense of freshness and vibrancy. As the scent develops, cypress adds a woody depth, while coffee introduces warmth and richness. Vetiver and patchouli anchor the base, providing a grounding earthiness that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to capture both the initial freshness and the deeper earthy base. The citrus-spicy top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so reapply if you want a continuous burst of freshness throughout the day.
