No 1 Rose Petal Drops by Zara, launched in 2021 and crafted by the renowned perfumer Jo Malone, is a floral fragrance that captures the essence of rose with an unexpected twist. The composition begins with a burst of pink pepper and black currant, adding a fresh and fruity contrast to the Turkish rose at its heart. As it settles into a warm base of amber, vanilla, and patchouli, the scent becomes richly layered without becoming overly sweet or heavy.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture this fragrance's balance between freshness and richness. The fruity top notes fade within an hour, so reapply if you want a longer-lasting floral presence throughout the day.
