No 4 Amber & Fig Cashmere by Zara, launched in 2021 and crafted by Jo Malone, weaves together an intricate blend of woody aromatics and warm amber. The fragrance opens with a bright burst of orange and pink pepper before diving into the lush greenness of fig tree and the soft embrace of white woods. At its heart lies ambroxan, providing a creamy warmth that is further enhanced by the musky undertones of ambergris and patchouli. This composition creates an enveloping atmosphere that feels both modern and lasting.
Two sprays are enough to capture the full essence of this fragrance. The orange and pink pepper notes open up quickly but fade within an hour, so allow it to settle for at least five minutes before heading out. This scent reads best close to skin rather than from a distance.
