Launched in 2024, Oakwood by Zara is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance crafted by perfumer Suzy Le Helley. It opens with the brightness of grapefruit and aldehydes, creating an invigorating freshness that cuts through earthy moss and leather notes. The heart of orange blossom brings a subtle floral touch, while the base anchors it all with warm, animalic undertones. This composition is a study in contrasts, balancing crispness with depth.
Oakwood is best applied with one to two sprays — its aldehydic top notes are bright but fade quickly. The mossy and leathery base notes emerge after about an hour, so give it time to settle into your skin before heading out.
